Reading posts in here about where the convention going to be held and where people want it held has pesonaly drawn me to write this post. I saw allot of me not we. Hold it here because,or hold it there because, or the group has spoken so this is where it will be. Well people as I see this entire thing.It is not about where the convention is to be held. It is about the members of this group, orginization joining together for one common goal. To make a united front in helping find the answer for CH. I do not see that. I see people fighting over where it should be held.
Let me tell you where it should be held. It should be held in a location that is going to be the most accessable to everyone and the most cost effective so that we can all come together to meet, exchange ideas and stories, learn, and get medical staff to the location to hear what we have to say as well as give us a chance to hear what they have to say. Let me lay something out for each of you. I speak these next words from personal knowledge. About 80% of the medical world (doctors) will not even see a drug rep unless they have something for the Doc so he does not have to spend money. This includes but is not linited to lunch, pens, mouse pads, clocks and other gadgets. For one of my sales reps to get in the door to sell the doctor a more state of the art medical software package to better serve YOU he has to do the same thing. What makes anyone thing the medical world will treat us any diffrent.
When discussing an issue it is time we all came together in one form or another and worked as a team. IF we do not work as a team to make OUCH a better place then we all lose. People, you may not like my post and you may totaly disagree with me; that is fine. We need to work together on all matters or we fail and OUCH fails. If OUCH fails the children that are growing up lose out on the changes we could have made. Like me or not. It is not about me. It is about members joining together and standing up for the good of everyone not just themselves.
