We tried that for OUCH 2000 and it was mass confusion. We made the decision in Vegas that the site would be decided by the 2001 convention commitee (me) and that would be final. And yes, I waivered as chairman for OUCH 2001 that Atlanta (our original choice was New Orleans) would be ok when you and Elaine signed on to the commitee. I absolutely aggree that the membership should have input but where do you draw the line? 2002 is settled but any input for 2003 that can get the membership involved is welcome but only in a timely manner. But keep in mind, there are many that would want the convention to suit their own convenience and that isn't right or fair or going to happen.
