I don't want to experiment with illegal treatments that haven't been medically sanctioned. I have Raskin as a consulting neurologist, and he couldn't even find a med that would break my cycle. While I might be able to grow my own, I'm not sure I want to try it--I'd rather not risk screwing up and losing my liver.
As for side effects from legal cluster meds, as I said, I don't put up with it, I stop taking the med and tell the neuro I won't take it anymore.
If you think that my 'Head can't be that Fucking Sore' you can blow it out your ass. My reasons are mine for not doing these "remedies". I don't experiment. After two and a half fucking years of this, I've had enough of the fucking pain and bullshit from people who think I'm faking it or making it out to be worse than it is. I deal with this shit from doctors and nurses when my wife insists on running me to the ER because I'm screaming in pain at 4am.
