I have gone chronic twice, 20 months and 15 months. The hits were 4 to 6 a day probably no higher than a Kip 4 or 5.
My episodes had always been 2 to 3 months long and I guess each time I really didn't think about being chronic. After the last one (15mos) I went 30 months attack free.
Hang in there and work on a preventive if you can find one. Good Luck!!
