You can't reason with nutters like Bin Laden - he's proved that. Much as I hate the thought of more innocent people getting caught in the cross fire, this had to be done. My country (UK), the US, Canada and the rest of the global coalition against terrorism have my full support. They tried diplomacy, they tried sanctions, they tried threats and have been left with no choice but to take military action. I am looking after my 5 nieces and nephews for the next 2 weeks while their mum and dad are on a much needed holiday. As we watched the news last night, I looked around at them and knew that what was happening was to safeguard their future. We had to take this action. What sort of world would we be leaving to future generations if we let people like Bin Laden run amok without any consequences for their actions?
Let's hope it's as swift and targetted as possible.
