Brand new to this site and I think it is great. My headaches are not anywhere near as frequent as some of the horror stories I have read on here. However when I get them I usually do "the dance" for at least an hour. The pain, as you all know, is like nothing else.
I am posting this message to let you know what works for me, amitriptyline. I take 10mg at night for 3 months in the fall and I NEVER get an attack. Before I was prescribed this I would get the attacks 2-3 times a week at night.
It is definitly worth checking into if you haven't already.
