I'm in Calgary :) Sorry to hear you're getting hit so hard. My hubby is a clusterhead too. Your paralysis worries me, though - have you had that checked? That's NOT a common complaint here and we've had some stroke scares here, especially with our leader. So don't mess with that, go see a neuro a.s.a.p. - even if just to confirm that you're ok.

As to the gingko, I would caution you that one of the most common side effects of many herbs is headache. Not necessarily cluster, but ...
If you're going to go the herb route, feverfew is targetted more towards neurological events but you have to take it for a long time to see any real results. We're finding it's much more successful to target the seratonin imbalance you guys seem to have and I doubt gingko is going to do much for that.
