So exciting to read your report and to hear from Dr. Goadsby! I noticed that he says that ergotamine is again being looked at as a possible med for treatment. Was the subject of psilocybin mushrooms brought up at all? Isn't ergotamine the synthetic version of what occurs naturally in mushrooms? (Aside from the psilocybin, I mean.)
I was also excited to hear that Dr. Goadbsy is talking about educating doctors in other fields (opthamologists, dentists, ENT guys, etc) about watching out for cluster symptoms before treating patients who present to them, thinking they have eye/tooth/sinus problems. Correct diagnosis is more than half the battle and we have to always remember those that don't have internet access in order to do their own research.
