To the best of my knowledge (admitedly limited), all these new generation drugs for clusters are of the same ilk - simiar to imitrex. Is that true?
I ask because no physician will let me have any. I used to take DHE-45 at onset, but it caused my R. coronary artery to spasm and slam shut - and stay that way. Now they tell me that all this new stuff could have the same side effects and, having demonstrated a propensity to these effects, they are reluctant to risk my life to eliminate the pains.
I'm not sure that that trade-off is such a bad deal at times. I think you guys, at least, understand. My Neuro won't. Are any of those things mentioned in the survey NOT vaso drugs? And effective? The survey shows little experience out there. Helphelphelp.
