Thank You for your e-mails and best wishes on the board. Jack as you know had his aortic valve replaced in his heart in January. At that time a small leak was around the new valve. It was hard to sew in because of calcium around the wall of his aorta(sp). He went into the hospital Tuesday with chest pain. The leak is much larger. They are going to go in and reform a wall around the valve with cow parts and sew in a new valve. It is his only chance for a long good life. His lungs are not good from years of working around constuction dust and asbestous(sp) and they are worse with the heart not pumping right so he is back on O2 but he is home till May 1st when they operate again. Thats only 4 months in between but the surgen(sp) says it needs to be done now. It cannot wait. But it's a team effert and one is on vacation so they will wait 2 weeks till May 1st. Thank You NANCYC, JOY,REE,BENNIESUE,CECILE,TERRYS,ANNEMARIE, RICCARDO (Jack says I have to give you kisses back),JACKIEL,JONNY,AUGUST, and all those praying for us.
