This is probably going to sound crazy to you guys,
but maybe not. Has anyone ever tried rubbing their
forehead, nose, and cheek with Icy Hot or Ben Gay
on the side of the headache? I know this sounds
weird and it doesn't take the pain away but makes it a
little duller, if you are out of meds, oxygen, etc.
I guess that is an good example of what Doc
Greg talks about in, "Why do clusterheads bang their
heads?", huh?
Another question, My doctor has prescribed oxygen in
the past, but it was only to delivery 4-6 LPM for
10-15 minutes. The regulator only went up to 5 LPM.
It worked most of the time if I got to the oxygen before
the headache was full blown, but if the amount of the
oxygen delivered was higher wouldn't it work faster to
abort the headache? I read somewhere that the regulator
should have the capacity to delivery up to 10 LPM.
