I was diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea 2 years ago. To make a long story short I had surgery to alleviate this problem, I too thought surgery might break this cycle of ch as well. It was about 3 months after surgery I felt that all to familiar feeling coming on. Since then they have been pretty much on their usual schedule, 1-2 times a year for about 10-12 days 2-3 ch a day (much less than I used to get before preventive therapy with verapamil 240 mg daily for the last 4 years). My sleep apnea is gone. I do feel better during the day now, more alert and awake but unfortunately, it didn't help me on the ch side.
