I used Nubain in the first year it was approved by the FDA and within 3 weeks of begining I developed a severe allergy to it and had to discontinue us, It never aborted even one attack and was in the Experimental stage for the V.A. Pharmacology list.
I used Phenergan in conjunction with 100mg's of demerol until I discovered it was the Phenergan that was actually knocking me out, I would be really Hung Over after using it as it mimiced the affect Benaryl has on me. I was more comfortable using the Phenergan than the Demerol because of the reputation Demerol has with regards to addiction.
both drugs induced severe "Rebound attacks" which was very well documented. Pappy
