I have that feeling as well. When I read about shadows here, it is always with reference to attacks coming on or being over.
I myself experience shadow atacks, or maybe I should call them ghost attacks, at all times of the year. Like at the moment. I am in my 14th month of remission but the shadows continue.
They vary from an irritating nuisance to slight pain (kip 2/3?)
So in a sense maybe we're all chronic. Or maybe some of us (like myself) are chronic without the pain breaking through.
It is an interesting angle on a curious affliction.
