verapamil dosage/quitting

I am on Varapamil too, when I am in cycle.
It takes a few days to start working and in that time you may still get hit by severe attacks.

Also, the dosage is important. I have never gone beyond 400 mg but I have seen reports of dosages into the 720's.

If the Verapamil does not take hold after a week, you may wish to slowly increase the dose by small increments. Do check with you doctor first of course!

What Frank says about not stopping cold turkey does apply, but it's not as bad as with some other medication. Just take it in small increments again.

And if your husband is on low dosage (as most doctors do to start with) it probably won't have harmed him very much.
