I have been on Topamax for aprox 8 weeks. I am at 100 mg. and will be upping this week to 125 mg. My nuero said the best sucess is that it needs to be upped very slowly 25 mg at a time in 2 week intervals. It can be increased faster if needed but they are finding that patients have less side effects and tollerate the drug much better if introduced at a slower pace. I have heard some people have had luck with it preventing their headaches anywhere between 75 mg and 200 mg. I am very hopefull and excited!
