Clusters and sleeping patterns

I posted this a couple of days ago and no one really said anything about it. Has anyone ever noticed this before? It really makes me wonder about sleeping patterns with clusters. The only year I've skipped in 13 years was one that I was working an "odd" shift and now my cluster comes to a complete halt at the beginning of a bout when I change shifts? Is this possible?

In the 13 years that I have suffered from cluster headaches, I have only skipped ONE year. That year was my first here in Wichita Kansas. I was working the third
shift that year (12 midnight to 7 a.m.).

I wonder...I know the University of Michigan has made some statements about clusters and sleep patterns (the link is on the link page), but I'm seriously starting to
wonder about it.

This year's cluster started last Sunday for me. The previous clusters lasted between 70-80 days. I'd typically have between 2 to 5 headaches per day, every day,
every cluster, every year.

The thing is, I just started 3rd shift again last Tuesday (2 days after the start of the cycle). I had between 3 and 5 headaches every day last week up until Saturday
when I had 4, the last one about 6 p.m. Saturday night. Since then........NOTHING! When I've been in cycles before, I NEVER went a day without a headache. It's
been over 60 hours now and no headache (I'm knocking really hard on my computer desk right now)

Are the wheels spinnin' in anyone else's brain? Seems like this is one helluva co-incidence (sp?)
