I worked for the same company for five years teaching others how to do my job as good as did then i started getting my CH I never missed a day of work but they know that i was not the same person that they where used to. my company know that My wife and I had are first child on the way and elected to lay me off with no intent to call me back which stopped my insurance. Now with no job and no insurance I had to find work wich was not easy do to the new pain that I was feeling I was scared that i had somthing whorse like a brain tumer or somthing. I haden't even taken time off to go to the doctors because i was a good worker that did not miss time from are seven day work week at the time. Well I did find a job with a great company that I have been with for nine years and they are doing every thing they can to help me. I still dont take time to go to the doctors the way I should and just the other day my boss spent the day with me and gave me a list of friends and doctors that he spoke with about me. He also told me that any cost not coverd by the insurance company will be payed for by My company. I am one of the lucky ones that can work with my CH because of the support of my wife,Kid's and job but im also no quiter.
But I do understand why some do go on disability
I hope that if the day come's that i no longer can deel with the pain that there will be something that I can do for my family like collet disability.
PS.
The first thing that hapend to me at my new job was that my old boss whanted to take me to lunch to talk over a larg contract that i had out for bid. He did not like my answer
