I do not know exactly how candida and cluster headaches are related. If I were to make a SWAG (scientific wild-ass guess) I would say that intestinal candida leads to the development of antibodies which also cross react with receptors on blood vessels in the neck, head, and scalp region. What is more difficult to explain is the cyclical nature of these headaches. I wonder if there are seasonal variations with regard to the ability of blood vessels to constrict and dilate to certain stimuli. By decreasing the candida in your gut, you decrease the source that the antibodies are being generated against (antigen). This would explain why anti-fungal therapy works, and also why prednisone works as it is well-known to suppress autoimmune (immune disorders directed against oneself) phenomenon. Other medicines such as verapamil, sansert, and imitrex work by inhibiting or reversing the dilation of blood vessels through various receptors on the blood vessels.
I'm not sure why a swine flu vaccine would lead to clusters, one possibility is that vaccines alter different types of immune cells in your body, and perhaps this vaccine change the immune cell ratio in such a manner as to favor the growth of candida. This is also a swag.
