If you search the archives, you'll find several threads discussing these procedures. The current 'flavor of the month' seems to be Gamma Knife, but there are other approaches also.
I've not had, nor do I ever plan to have, any such procedure. Those who have say that, at best, they have a few weeks of remission followed by a resumption of the clusters and permanent problems with facial sagging, etc. Interestingly, several people who have had surgery for totally unrelated conditions also report a period of remission following surgery. Might be totally unrelated or might be that, deep down inside, the Demon has one remaining shred of humanity which causes him to leave us alone while we recuperate.
