My friend's husband was on Prednisone for about 6 months because of a chronic kidney condition.

Before my eyes, I witnessed this man's aging, due to the prednisone. He developed diabetes, severe ostoarthritis, bone lose, and severe moods swings.

When he finally went off of the predisone, some of the conditions reversed, but he still suffers from diabetes, and severe bone loss.

That is the main reason I declined my doctor's suggestion that I use predisone. Though I consider clusterheadaches to be tough, I felt that I didn't need to take the chance of completely destroying my health.

This is my opinion only, and I do not mean to offend anyone who uses predisone and is successful.
