Last Tuesday I left my house to drive to L.A. for Xmas. It's a 500 mile, 9 hour ordeal and I hadn't gotten 5 miles outta town when I felt "the twinge" Oh God spare me!!!! I rolled the windows down and turned on the AC. So here I was flying down the freeway hands clenched to the wheel with my hair blowing all over and breathing hard. It never got beyond a 5 and after 15 mins, I was fine. I stopped for lunch and gas and I was asked 3 times about my bumper sticker. I was only too happy to explain it and I left feeling like a cluster headache ambassador. There must be lots of people who see the bumper stickers on our cars who now have it in their heads on a subconscious level anyway. We're getting the word out! Xmas was fine but then it was time to fly to Phoenix which is what I was dreading, because of the pressure bringing on an attack and not having anywhere to go. I sat there squished between two people with my Imitrex in my hot little hands, just waiting for it. A woman started talking to me and asked about it. So I told her. And you know what? Everybody started listening to our conversation seemingly very interested, and one guy even told me if I started to get one he would break down the bathroom door for me if I needed to go in there to not be seen whuile in an attack. I was really touched and thank God it didn't happen. I'm in Phoenix now using someones computer, and later this week I will be meeting with Shellie from the board. By the way, Drumer ! I saw a whole bunch of your friends on Interstate 5 heading for L.A. LOL

I'm going to be here for 10 days and then all I have to get through is the trip back to L.A. from Phoenix. Linda Howell
