I have been CH free for about 9 months now while taking Verapimil... I was chronic for a year before that. I too experience "shadow" sensations - my CHs are always on the left side and so I feel them there. THey are disturbing reminders of potential pain lurking. Occasionally I get a mild CH for about 15 minutes and I've taken to drinking as much water as I can when I feel that way - it seems to minimize it...
I also experience mild daylong headaches on the opposite side of the CH occasionally... anyone have that?...
