I've seen Bryan get so down and discouraged and almost scream at me, "They're never going away, Jen! If you're going to be with me, you're going to be with them too!" And I've seen what this kind of thinking does to his demeanor. But I refuse to believe it, and when he's feeling better, he refuses too. And it's in those times that he's most willing to try new things, to get off his duff and start helping himself. I understand if his moods go up and down, but for both our sakes I WILL NOT let myself be resigned to dealing with CH for the rest of our lives. We will beat it, somehow! And I've got to keep my own spirits up as an example to him, I guess.
