I would very much appreciate learning if others have had a similar experience as the one I am currently going through. Episodic for 15 years - this will be the fourth cycle nearing the end of 4 months. It has typically been an average of 3 months in the past. All medication has stopped working, including Prednisone which in the past had been effective. I've tried every drug listed on this board. Verapamil, Propranolol, Depakote and Sansert never did work. I recently tried Ritelin, the first 10mg tab aborted the attack, the second one did not. I then tried Ritalin 20mgSR and that seemed to severely contribute to the frequency of headaches and level of pain. At this point, nothing works, I have constant daily painful shadows and severe multiple attacks throughout the evening and night. Due to the frequency, Imitrex, maxalt, etc. is out of the question. Oxigen has zero effect. Have you had this sort of experience? I'm desperate!
