I agree, a neuro that isn't willing to listen to you? You should stand up right then and tell him it's time. Time to get another doctor. One with an open mind, compassion, and willing to help his patients, not to promote more neuro drugs. Depakote would be an attempt to hide the symptoms (and revisit the neuro every so often) while the neuros won't change. Remember they built their dream houses, and sent their kids to med school by keeping you coming back to buy more drugs that hurt your system, not even attempting to think broadly and see the holistic picture. My neuro is human, prescirbed diflucan, I'm pain free, and I like my neuro because he listens to me and values my opinions. Fire the docs that don't listen to you. remeber some of them were bad students in school, and ask them how many clusters patients they have had and why 1 or 2 patients makes them more of an expert than we are. We know themonster first hand, not the docs. Go to adoctor and ask for diflucan for a yeast infection. If it
stops your headaches then go back and demand diflucan for headache prevention. Stand up to them, trust me, they know less about your headaches, symptoms, treatments, and cures than we do. Good luc.
