I have given verapamil a couple of tries in the past with no results. The doc kept me on 240 mg/day, and didn't really advise me to give it a couple of weeks to start working.
This year I have a CH-savvy doc who started me at the highest dose (480 mg/day) and told me to give it at least three weeks before giving up. I'll post my success story in two more weeks (is that optimistic or what?).
