Annie. I am sorry you had another experience with the ignorance and crappy docs out there. I have been there. I think I have in some way learned to be tolerant of this crap after 15 years. the frustration and anger of being target as a drug seeker many times Addicts come to ER's all the time trying to get drugs; unfortunately, We seem to get lumped into that category often. But we REALLY hit the ER because of our pain I find it humiliating to be treated as a druggie but the ER deals with this situation often so I try to understand that we are overlooked as being legit
Butt I still get pissed. But anger, frustration, and humiliation seems to make my life more miserable. I have been trying to accept the bullcrap,mainly because I am a recovering alky and Acceptance is the key to happiness according to AA . But It is damm hard for me, but I will keep on trucking
