If it weren't for bad luck, you'd have NO luck at all. Excuse the "D" word but DAMN!
Right before I went chronic, I had four horrid months: My hubby had two strokes in April, my son had major surgery in May, my daughter-in-law had a breakdown in June and in July my only brother calls me to say he's dying with cancer. Surprise - no headaches. THEN- I went on a cruise and first day out guess what - The Demon made an appearance and hasn't gone away since. Maybe we just can't take the relaxation.
My doc was watching this when I was episodic, but after I went chronic, it didn't seem to make a difference. Maybe with all the extra "density" in gray matter, some of us "thrive" on STRESS and 'chilling out' brings on the HAs. It's something to think about.
Hope the retirement is going better.
