Hi everyone, I don't have cluster headaches but my husband does, all started after a trip to Las Vegas a few years ago, the Doctor said sometimes flying triggers them, he never had them before, they come and go, they use to last only about 20 minutes. But they are back this week lasting up to 1 hr and 15minutes,
I have seen him in pain with these before, when they only lasted 20 minutes, but last Tuesday he woke me up at 2:30 AM told me could not stand to be alone with the pain, it scared me so bad to see him in all this pain, I wanted to take him to the hospital, ofcourse he would not go. He is on Verapeil (I hope thats how you spell it) But it seems this time they are different than before, he said it throbs for a few minutes and then lets up and then throbs and lets up,
Is that how everyone else feels? Thursday, at exactly 2:00 AM one started and massaged the side of his neck for 1 hr and the pain was not as bad.
I suffer with pain behind my eye (they say it is sinus)
But nothing like the pain you people have. I am so sorry than any of you have to suffer so badly.
