The attitude of (I dont know so it must not be real ) I am a grown man of 40 who has repelled of mountains taken survival course in the winter and summer. I was hit by a truck at 65mph when I was a kid later in life a severed a finger on a table saw. The thing that scares me the most are these headaches. I have been curled up on the floor pounding my head to stop the pain. I have gone out in the middle of the night in the middle of winter with no coat trying to chill the pain away
I can relate to the bathrobe strap beacause I will put a hand on each side of my head and squeeze as hard as I can. I rock, swear, yell, and wish it would end. Even if it means ending my life. This is what I feel when I'm in the middle of a cluster. It strange that docs have so many years of schooling but yet they dont get it. When my doc didn't know what they were I printed all kinds of stuff about cluster headaches and gave it to him. I even read some of it to him because its my time not his. If possible get another doc one who knows that even if the mind is creating the pain IT STILL HURTS !!!!!
