Today I met someone who knew what I was talking about when I said I had cluster headaches.............. she too suffered what was called 'cluster migraine' by her doctor, but she described the pain so perfectly, it had to be CH. She was started on Pizotiphen (sorry I don't know what its called in US)and decided to cut out milk because of the supposed lactose/migraine link. Well, and this is the interesting bit, she has been pain free (and medication free) for 9 years. So maybe there is hope. Just wanted to share that with everyone - made me feel a whole load less isolated in just knowing someone who doesn't 'live' on this board actually knew what I was talking about. Wishing us all free of this cursed affliction. go with care....... maggie
