Vagus nerve stimulation
Apr 19th, 2017 at 10:43pm

A newcomer to our lovely Clusterville, who can't yet post links, has sent me the following info and I thought I'd pass it on for comment among the many here who are far more knowledgeable than I.

18 APR 2017

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a noninvasive vagus nerve stimulation device for the treatment of pain from episodic cluster headache in adults, the manufacturer announced.

Good one, Hoppy.

Didn't know about the UK connection as well, but the FDA approval may well help some of our American friends through the hoops and hurdles of their insurance thing.

Can't hurt to consider all the possibilities.

I've posted before about this. I've been using gammaCore since 2012.

It does help.

Peter.
