Joshua CH.com Alumnus Offline Posts: 264 x0\|New York\|USA\|\|0\|0\|NY,New_York Gender:	D3 - flushed face/red nose Mar 9^th, 2016 at 7:13am I've seen some posts on the board about flushing, some posts about Niacin, etc. I started high dose D3 for a few days to get the levels up, which seems to be working, but my cheeks, and my nose are pretty red. Anyone else experience this? If so, any remedies (other than lowering the dose?)

To 10000iu/day or even 5000iu/day which is what I take to keep the beast at bay. Hoppy

I've never heard of flushing caused by Vitamin D, but maybe it affects you that way. Have you experienced flushing with your headaches before this? I ask because forehead and facial sweating is one of the criteria for the diagnosing of CH. I usually experience flushing with my attacks. Even now when the D3 regimen is doing its job, I will sometimes get flushed with only the hint of a headache. The D3 may only help the CH pain, and not the other autonomic issues.

I get some redness on my skin due to some dermatological thing once in a while, I read where D3 could exacerbate such a thing, but I think it's calmed down. Still on the regimen, Day 5 no pain.
