O2 Question
Mar 29th, 2014 at 1:37am

Does anyone here have an H Tank?  If so, do you have a regulator that goes over 15lpm for it?  I just got an H tank to keep in my war room.  I have scoured the web but can not find a regulator that goes over 15lpm.

Hi Jason,
Try a company out of Indianapolis called FloTec.  They are very reputable with 30+ years in business and will customize high flow regulators for CH sufferers.

Their # is (317) 273-6960.
Their website is floteco2.com

Good Luck Wink

ok so maybe a stupid question.  The welding reg displays in psi how will I know what flow I'm using? Or, do I just turn it up to the point where I can't out run it?

Jason, that is not a stupid question but an excellent question one must understand to effectively use o2 therapy.

"Turn it up to the point you can't out run it" is the best measurement for hyperventilating, especially from a welder psi regulator.

Keep in mind the connection fitting between your tank and the regulator you purchase is of great importance, as not all regulators fit every tank size.  You can get adapters if needed.  Check out the o2 page tab on the left side of your screen for more details. Wink

I have two of the harbor freight regs and you use it just as stated.  Turn it up till you can't out run it.  We are using pressures less than needed for cutting/welding.

The opti mask is also very key to making the O2 work.  No other mask has been able to do the trick for me.

I keep an M tank in my truck and retreat there during the work day.  And then two at home.  When one empties I have two swapped.
