Going to a HA Center
Nov 19th, 2012 at 11:50am

Well, now that I'm officially "Chronic" (nothing more depressing than the doc writing that on my file folder), the doc is sending me to a HA center (yes, he's a cluster and HA specialist, but he generally doesn't deal with chronic cluster). I'm going to Jefferson HA center in PA. Unfortunately first appt is April, so I have a bit of a wait, and also the cost is quite high, it seems, esp since I'm on a high deductible plan, but what the hell, you only live once, and lately, you live in pain all the time. I'll let you all know how it goes and what they say. Maybe they'll hook me up to electrodes and plug it into the wall or something. That's what my wife suggested a few times, though I don't think it had anything to do with my cluster headaches..........
