Certainly you should discuss any major change with your doctor. It may well be "just" CH, but there's other more serious things that need to be ruled out.

I called the dr today spoke to the receptionist and she said let me pass this message along to the doctor needless to say she never passed the message to the doctor.   The doctor is nice but horrible,horrible when it comes to appointments, questions returning calls. I remember the last time I needed something refilled and needed a dr's approval and it still hadn't gone through and I called back and they said we are still going through other prescriptions and messages please give us time! Seriously?? I waited 2 more days and they somehow " forgot" about me...... Ugh.... This is going to be a real treat.... I would switch doctors but he is my only doctor in my network.   Guess it's back to the drawing board tommorrow..... Still have the headaches In the meantime what should I do for relief??

Oh, just to add, please be incredibly suspicious of any opiate-type painkiller, even as just a short term measure.  There's been many a horror story here because of their use and remarkably little good news to balance it out.

Good news doctor finally got back to me. They upped my meds ( topamax) they said if it doesn't work give us a call..... So hopefully ( knocks on wood) it'll work. I am also looking into melatonin.
