Keep us in mind tomorrow
Jan 29th, 2012 at 12:02pm

Dear ch family,

During my ch years you have been there for me in so many ways. Tomorrow I need your support, your kind thoughts once more.

Something is going on and we will get big news. Those news can be horribly sad and devastating or incredibly wonderful and magical. Luckily for me, Esa will be there the whole time, so I don't have to face it all on my own.

I will be more specific later on, for the reasons which will make sense then, too. This is not about ch, however.

But for now, I try to keep myself calm and try not to think about the possible sad news - option. Tomorrow, at 12.45pm (our time) it all begins and we're not sure how long the meeting lasts, maybe half an hour, maybe an hour, maybe more.

If you can, keep us in your thoughts. We're hoping for the best possible outcome and happy news. In every case, the news will change our lives.

PF days to everyone,
Sanna

Lumi:  Did you know Sanna has been studying and is practically a nurse?

Nuppu:  She's studying to be a practical nurse.

Lumi:  Oh, practical.  Good, the way she separates our lettuce and carrots instead of mixing them...  that just makes no sense.

Nuppu:  Have you thought about going to college?

Lumi:  Yes, but that's like letting everybody know you're dumb.

Nuppu:  It gradually becomes hard to hide.  Anyway, tomorrow she's going to find out good or bad news.

Lumi:  Like opening a door and finding a good witch or a bad witch?

Nuppu:  That's a horse of a different color, but yes, Emerald City or witch's castle.

Lumi:  Can we go with her?

Nuppu:  No munchkin, we'll have to wait here.
You have some straw on your head.

Lumi:  I wish I had a crystal ball to find out.

Nuppu:  That would make you practically a witch.

Lumi:  I could be a practical witch.

Nuppu:  Good.  Grab a broom and put a tidy spell on your side of the cage.

Hi everyone,

Thank you all for your kind words, prayers, vibes and support. I'm pretty sure I felt it. Smiley

Kevin, I read that text just before I was due to leave for the appointment (thanks to school computer class!) and it made me smile when I really needed it. Thank you. Smiley

The appointment lasted an hour and the news were absolutely amazing! In fact, I've been smiling widely ever since. Smiley We got the best news possible.

Of course, it's still very early, and so many things can happen... but so far, everything is as great as it can be and we're incredibly happy and blessed. Over the moon. Smiley

Note to my Facebook friends: I will not announce this following information at all via Facebook, so please, do not comment about the following news over there. You  can send me emails of course, but I'm not going public with this news, I decided that long time ago. Thank you for your understanding. Smiley

And the good news? Well, come August, we're going to have a baby! Smiley

Today we had our 12 week scan, ultrasound, which showed us clearly that I have not been throwing up for nothing. Grin Happy, healthy, feisty little one is on his/her way to our home. Smiley

We had a little scare on Friday, which made me fear this ultrasound a lot, but it turned out to be something completely normal... First child, so how am I supposed to know, right? Wink

We're celebrating this on Sunday, when both grand-parents-to-be will come over. They will get to see the ultrasound pics of our baby then. Smiley

BTW, I've been PF during my pregnancy so far. Smiley I hope that will also continue, but I have mentioned about ch to my midwife. I'm her first clusterhead, so she has a learning opportunity here as well.

All the best & PF days to everyone,
Sanna

Thank you all for your wonderful posts. Smiley

We're already looking for a bigger place (and hopefully, next Christmas, there will be that tree! Wink) and hopefully we're nicely settled once the baby arrives. Smiley

I've been so happy ever since we found out the happy news in December. It was hard to keep this secret, but now we're slowly telling people.

It will be interesting to see how I can combine this pregnancy and my studies; early experiences  show that the hospital, midwife and school do not really work together; I have to book appointments on specific times, but it's hard to get out of class and find the time when the appointment will not interrupt school too much... I can be flexible, so let's hope that the rest will be in future, too. Smiley

I want to be able to study with my class for the whole Spring term, which ends in June. But if something will happen, health-wise, I will stay at home if a doc tells me to (my mother's blood pressure was dangerously high when she was expecting me, which meant sick leave and time in the hospital in the end). Baby comes first. I can always pick up my studies where I left them; I will need to that anyway what comes to Fall term and the whole final year.

We have been wanting this baby for months and planning about it for longer. This is a blessing and a dream-come true. Smiley

Moms & dads in here, do tell tips & advices you want to share about pregnancy and having a baby. All will be appreciated. Smiley

Lots of PF time to all,
Sanna & Litte Rascal (12+4)
