Hey all
I just wanted to share my experience with u all. I have been stuck in this "chronic cluster shadow" for over a year and have increased pain mostly with weather change just the wat the beast presents itself to me. I have tried everything to try to get relief. Went back to my specialist on tuesday because i was having 5 a.m. wake up pain with my shadows increased to about a kip 4 really odd. So i was put back on verap im up to 240mg a day and he added 25mg elavil at night to the mix. I heard alot of nightmare stories about elavil but I have to say since the elavil I have NOT had the 5a.m. wake up pain or the constant shadows i have been stuck with for a long time! I know its not the verap doing it cause its only 5 days since starting it so I have to attribute it to the elavil. Just hard to believe that 25mg of elavil could be working? I mean i will take it over any pain but....
input would be great
Anthony

Did a quick board search on Elavil, the reviews I read were split 50/50! Half said the side effects were completely unbearable, half said they were not that significant.

Glad to hear it's giving you some relief without all the bad stuff. Here's hoping that continues for you on both fronts.

"Somebody had to say it" is usually a piss poor excuse to be mean.
