as listed previously on your other thread in case you didn't read it...

Successful CH treatment requires:
(1) Transitional,
(2) Preventive,
(3) Abortive.

Lots to read here on this site, lots to learn!

It is not wise to rely solely on any doctor for CH treatment.  A headache specialist and/or neurologist also will most likely not be 100% help, but should be of better assistance than just anybody with a MD after their name.  Also, you may consider when you have the ability to rule out anything that may mimic CH's and/or another head disorder.

The best help for yourself is your own knowledge and to be a self advocate.  We can help you achieve that knowledge and comfort level speaking effectively with the medical/neurological community.

Since you can't afford the Imitrex injections right now, try o2.  It is the safest abortive treatment for your body, least expensive and best of all, it works!

If you can't afford medical o2 or don't get the high flow regulator (15 lpm to 40 lpm) required for successful o2 therapy and/or if you don't get a Non-ReBreather mask required; look into welders oxygen, a welders regulator and a NRB mask from the CH.com store...all 3 easy to obtain fast with no prescription required.

Search the yellow tabs on the left for quick reference to many of your preliminary questions.

You are not alone and we can help as we understand the frustrations and pain you are experiencing. Wink
