I first tried Verapamil in my mid 20's...I was at a much lower dose so it had no beneficial affect on my CH....but even at that "young virile" age it left Elvis sound asleep on many occasions...if you get my drift. Angry

Like CH isn't bad enough you take THAT away from me too!

I've been using Lithium as my prevent for many many yeras, I'm 51 now. At 1200 mg a day it blocks 60-70% of my attacks, with very little in the way of side effects. You pee a lot the first few weeks while your body gets used to it.....it is a salt after all. Some people get tremors in their hands, I have not yet. Certainly worth talking to your doc.

DO NOT - under any circumstances - bust while on lithium. It has drastically intensified the psychedelic effects in some people.
