olanzapine -zyprexa'no generic in states?

I got a script for zyrexa today thinking the generic name was "olanzapine" got the script delivered and it was almost $400.00 I will return it tomorrow. The pharmacy told me zprexa doesnt come generic here in the states and my insurance only cover's generic. Sad

I really wanted to try this drug! Any input as to what the Doc may be able to do? Maybe overide insurance or something?

Reply #1 - Jul 30^th, 2011 at 7:52am Before investing any money ask the doc for some samples. With 2-3 uses you will know whether it works for you. Only then, need he write for quantities which match the frequency of you attacks.
