Also, a location online for the purchase of REM sleep would be most appreciated nots

Just scrape off the lighter fuzzy stuff.

Crush the seeds to crack the shells with pliers, minus the fuzzy and soak in water for the 2 hours or so.

Strain through a drip coffee maker filter and your good to go.

Note; I do get a very mild short lasting stomach issue with these seeds no matter how they are prepared.
I tried to use the whole seed sludge once and thought I would die of stomach pain. The straining took care of that.
