Hey Sandy. Check out Joe's post on melatonin. I use 15mgs/night. Some have reported usage as high as 18mgs. Most find 8-10mgs to be effective. It all depends on the individual but I wouldn't be afraid to up the dose. If it doesn't help then you can back off. Be aware that some have reported it is important to check the bottle label to be sure it's actually melatonin as the active ingredient. Blessings! lanc
