Migraine gene discovered

A gene has been discovered that controls the sensitivity of pain nerves in the brain. If this is not working correctly then it can result in the sensitivity being set too low, resulting in migraine.

I wonder if this might also help with CH?

My ex-wives discovered that years ago.  Every one of them said "Gene you give me a headache."

CH according to Bejeeber:

Strictly relying on doctors for CH treatment is often a prescription that will keep you in a whole lot of PAIN. Doctors are WAY behind in many respects, and they are usually completely unaware of the benefits of high flow 100% O2.

There are lots of effective treatments documented at this site. Take matters into your own hands, learn as much as you can here and at clusterbusters.com, put it into practice, then tell this CH beast Jeebs said hello right before you bash him so hard with a swift uppercut knockout punch that his stupid horns go flinging right off.

Yes, especially with what is now in the article.

Quote:
The discovery was exciting because TRESK controls the sensitivity of pain nerves in the trigeminal ganglion, an area at the base of the brain.

It looks like our special nerve is controlled by this gene, so it's even more likely that this might also help us.

From another article on the same subject: "Some researchers have argued that a fall in air pressure reduces the amount of oxygen in the blood."

There's hope for us yet.
