Hey John, and while you're checking out the O2 page (highly recommended!), you might want to give the imitrex tip a gander too - it details how to abort 2 to 3 CH hits with one 6mg injector's worth of imitrex.

CH according to Bejeeber:

Strictly relying on doctors for CH treatment is often a prescription that will keep you in a whole lot of PAIN. Doctors are WAY behind in many respects, and they are usually completely unaware of the benefits of high flow 100% O2.

There are lots of effective treatments documented at this site. Take matters into your own hands, learn as much as you can here and at clusterbusters.com, put it into practice, then tell this CH beast Jeebs said hello right before you bash him so hard with a swift uppercut knockout punch that his stupid horns go flinging right off.

Hi John Scorpio and welcome.

Wow, there is apparently no rhyme or reason to when your cycles return, eh?
Mine have been fairly clockwise since 2000, I go into cycle every 2 to 2 and a half years. Have to admit though, that before 2000 mine were all over the place as well.
I hated the uncertainty.

Hey John Welcome aboard. I have had those two year breaks too. It really makes it worse when they come back. I'm currently in remission but glad i found these folks anyway. They really understand what we go through. Glad to know ya. Dan

Welcome John!

You have a great analogy there (icepicker), lol!

As bejeeber said, check out the O2 page so you
can eliminate the Imitrex.  You'll read that too much
trex can cause rebound headaches and we sure don't want those.  Read as much as you can here and ask as much as you can!

All the best!
