Thibodeaux went into the drug store to buy a pack of condoms.

"How much for dis pack of t'ree?" he asked.
The clerk replied, "$2.99."
"OK", says Thibodeaux.  "I take 'em."

"That'll be $3.24", said the clerk.
"You said $2.99", says Thibodeaux.  "Why it's $3.24?"
"Twenty-five cents for tax", said the clerk.

"Tacks???"  I t'ought you just unroll 'em and dey stay on by demself!"
