One night, a young man, recently engaged, visited his grandparents.  All night long, he listened as his grandfather called to his grandmother, calling her "dearest" and "honey" and "sugar" all night long, each one eliciting a little giggle.

The next morning, as he was leaving, he asked his grandfather, "Here it is, years later, and you still call grandma all those cute little pet names?"

The grandfather winked. "To tell you the truth, her name slipped my mind ten years ago and I've been too embarrased to ask her what it was."
