Demand valve recommendation
May 15th, 2010 at 11:48pm

Hello friends.  I have been a clusterhead for 30 yrs.  I have used a variety of nonrebreather oxygen systems.  I am now ready to spring for a demand valve.  I have read several old posts some of which recommend LifeGas.  Does anyone have a recommendation for a good quality demand valve, tubing, and regulator combination and where to obtain it.  Thanks in advance, and forgive me if this question has been answered before.

Hi,

two ideas:

- LifeGas Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register
(unfortunately 25 LPM regulator)

- or sometimes on eBay

Steve

Lifegas has the Demand valves for a bit over $300. Their regulators are about $285. You need one with a DISS fitting to accept the demand valve.

A cheaper and great quality regulator for about $150 is Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register. They're made to order so be sure to tell them you need the DISS fitting, with the Demand LPM doesn't matter the DISS overides it.

I have 2 of Flotec's rigs that go to 60LPM, I use the O2pti mask.
