Today after many confrontations with my Gp Practice & their staff (they needed educating & i was more than happy to help them with that, though i'm sure they call me blind, but hey...who gives a shit - not me!!!) I have the Imigran Injections AND the O2 is being delivered today!!!

I have had CH since the age of 15yrs but like most it was misdiagnosed for many many years. I used to get attacks 2/3 times a year, usually starting March (thus it being diagnosed as seasonal chronic sinusitis/hay fever ect)

I gave up on GP's in my early 20's & coped the best i could. But in Jan 2009 i started to get "infections" every month with only a few days PF before it all started again.

This forced me to seek medical help again....my story is long & i have told it before on here in my first few postings so i wont go through it all again.

But today i wanted to leave a message on here for all to see, to say Thank You 

I want to say Thank You to a VERY SPECIAL LADY.... Helen Williams without her help, guidance,support over these last 7months, i really do not know how i would of coped - i'v had very black hrs where the excruciating agonising repeated attacks of CH haven't given me a moments rest & there have been nights when the kip10+ have made me scream 2die whilst I'm there. Thank You Helen for giving me access to the correct medical information so i could learn as much has possible to able me to confront the Gp's & the Professors of this world.Thank You Helen for leading me to Neurologist Dr Nikos Evangelou.....for giving me hope & finding the strength 2hang in there....love & kisses & 4ever grateful, Stephanie x x x   


I havent put many postings on here but i do come on here & have read many other postings & gained valuable information & advice. I have cried many a time reading others experience & my heart aches for those who have yet to get the help they deserve.

I will post a again in a few days......my hopes are high for the 02 working for me as it has for so many others, will let you know  x

I ordered a O2ptimask kit from LifeGas a few months back & i'v fitted it to the O2.....what can i say, i'm practically speechless

I tried it straight away (in wk8 of a cycle) where the shadows/lower kips (2/3 up to 7/8) which ever they are, i'm still not sure some times - haunt me everyday     pain level4 anyway .....SO SO simple...i cant not hardly believe it.....more or less straight away....3/4 mins & that seething soul retching pain WAS GONE!!!!!!

The sense of relieve.... despite the Neuro saying they was 100% sure it was this thing called CH and i defiantly didnt need a MRI - there's that part of you that niggles at the back of your mind "how can anything SO painful...thats with me almost everyday"

Breathing on that O2 just them few minutes and it was gone...so so relieved....so amazing, so ecstatic!!!!!

It did come back on & off through out the day and i did go back on the O2 if it got to a 4 otherwise i can push it to the bac of my mind and get on with my day. When i get a big one coming thats when i'm still waiting with baited breath.

I slept last nite with a sense of peace that i'v not had in yrs.

Why oh why do the GP's make you fight SO hard 4everything??

And to think Helen refers to herself as a witch. The person that rides her "Broomstick 1" is truely an Angel.
